The performance exhibits an uncommonness and fine mastery of contortion and stunts as it is performed while suspended from any height on a six-foot-long free-spinning apparatus, without the use of a harness or net.
SkyHiGirl, originally from Toronto, is self-taught and self-managed. She is also CSAO and UOIT Certified in Rigging and Hoisting, and provides equipment, hardware, set-up and tear-down with each booking. She also designs all of the apparatus from which she hangs during her performances.
In addition to being an accomplished athlete, Erica Leah is also an accomplished Model and Spokesperson, being featured on-set in over 150 cities with Maxim & Bud Light’s Annual MAXIM EXPOSURE Tour, featured on over 90 Maxim DVDs, five Bud Light television commercials, and a two-page spread inside MAXIM magazine. Other credits include her recent role as "Sky High," a Gladiator on MTV Live. Sky High was dubbed "The Aerial Assaulter who comes to bring the pain!"
SkyHiGirl made appearances as an aerialist in DJ Danny D's new "Emotions" music video as well as Cowboy Troy and John Rich’s “Hick Chick” Music Video, she competed as a Finalist in the 2007 WWE Diva Search, toured nationally as a Spokesperson for R.J. Reynolds on the Playboy 50th Anniversary Tour, was a Promotional Spokesperson for Xbox and Spike TV on their national GameRiot Tour, and was featured at live Bud Bowl concert and club performances, opening for acclaimed musical artists such as Snoop Dogg, Paul Oakenfold, Jimmy Buffet, Tiesto, 50 Cent, Andre 3000 and Pharrell Williams to name a few. Erica also has eight years experience as a live host, auctioneer and spokesperson at fundraiser and charity events across Canada and the US.
